Although we are in uncharted territory during the COVID-19 pandemic, we must proactively respond to events as they unfold – with the safety and health of our patients, staff, community, and providers being our top priority. Below is a summary of changes happening at Voyage Healthcare as it pertains to you, our valued patient:

COVID-19 Testing is Available for Active and Past Infections

Appointments and testing are available for patients with COVID-19 symptoms. Results for an active infection
are usually available in less than one hour!

Virtual Voyage Visits (Video Health Visits)

Voyage Healthcare offers Virtual Voyage Visits, which is a video-based, face-to-face visit, accessible via your computer, iPad or smartphone. Office Closures & Hour Changes

Our Center for Women’s Health, located in Suite 180 at 15655 37th Ave N, Plymouth, MN is open for Mammograms and Bone Density (Dexa-Scan) testing only.

We are excited to announce that on Tuesday, September 8th we will be reopening our Plymouth office! The Plymouth Office offers primary care and specialties including:

Our Maple Grove, Plymouth, Osseo, and Crystal locations continue to remain open 7:30am - 5pm.

Our Acute Illness Clinic at our Osseo location is open Saturdays, 8:30am – 12 noon.

Effective immediately, for the safety of our patients and staff, NO visitors are allowed in the clinic. Exceptions are ONE visitor is allowed for patients requiring assistance, including appointments for patients under the age of 18. Also, ONE visitor is allowed for 20-week OB ultrasound appointments and BOTH parents are allowed for newborn appointments (less than 2 months of age). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but this restriction is for the safety of our patients, physicians, and staff.

The above decisions have been very difficult for Voyage Healthcare to make and were not taken lightly. We continue to remain your trusted healthcare facility and are doing the best we can to minimize impacts to our staff, their families, our communities and most importantly, you, our patients. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. Let’s all look forward with hope and confidence.

Based on current recommendations from the CDC, we require all patients to wear a face mask.  If you do not have a mask, you will be provided one to wear while in the office. If you have questions, please let us know - we are doing our best to keep everyone safe.

Update on COVID-19 From Your Provider

Here is what you need to know:

Coronavirus symptoms:

The severity of coronavirus symptoms can range from mild to severe. The majority of patients have mild symptoms. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.

Common signs of the infection include:

  • Fever
  • Congestion
  • Cough
  • Headache
  • Runny Nose
  • Fatigue
  • Body Aches
  • Sore Throat
  • Loss of Taste or Smell
  • Diarrhea and/or Vomiting
  • Shortness of Breath

Prevention:

You can take steps to reduce your risk of contracting coronavirus and other contagious diseases. To keep you and your family healthy, please keep the following measures in mind:

• Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water.
• Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.
• Avoid touching your eyes and the rest of your face.
• If you are sick, stay home from work or school.
• Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick.
• Wear a face mask if you are sick and choose to seek medical care.

What Voyage Healthcare is doing:

• We are closely following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Minnesota Department of Health.

We are asking any patient who has symptoms of fever, congestion, cough, headache, runny nose, fatigue, body aches, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea and/or vomiting, shortness of breath, and/or believe you have been exposed to the Coronavirus, to contact our office before coming to the clinic. If you have these symptoms, please contact our office at 763-587-7900 and press option 5 for further guidance from our staff.

• For the protection of our staff and other patients, we will ask you to wear a mask if you arrive at the clinic with a fever and/or upper respiratory symptoms.

• We have asked our staff and providers to take extra precautions at this time so please know that our staff may be wearing a mask and protective equipment during your appointment out of an abundance of caution.

• We continue to have our staff thoroughly clean and disinfect all clinical spaces on a regular basis.

When to seek medical care:

• If you have traveled recently to one of the areas in the world known to have a COVID-19 outbreak or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus and you are experiencing symptoms, please contact our office at 763-587-7900 and press option 5 for further guidance from our staff. PLEASE DO NOT COME DIRECTLY TO THE OFFICE--Please call us and we will give you direction on next steps.

• If you have severe symptoms such as high fever or shortness of breath or if you have underlying health conditions that place you at greater risk, we may direct you to the ER for evaluation.
