Why did you want to be a podiatrist?
I always knew that I wanted to do something in the medical field. After shadowing a number of different specialties, I found that podiatry afforded great variety in the types of pathology and patients treated. I
also found that I really enjoyed in-office procedures and surgery. It is extremely rewarding to send patients home feeling better than when they came into their appointment.

What is your patient philosophy?
My practice philosophy is to treat anyone that comes to my office in the same manner I would a close friend or family member. It’s my goal that after a patient leaves, they feel like they were listened to, cared for, and comfortable with the treatment plan moving forward. While my skillset and special interests are largely surgical in nature, I reserve that as the last option and make sure that all conservative efforts are tried first. It’s my goal that a patient feels involved in their care and are in very
capable hands in order to get back to doing what they like to do.  

What do you specialize in and why?  
I enjoy trauma, reconstructive surgery, and deformity correction. I also have specific training in the
treatment of intractable pain from peripheral nerve injuries and Orthoplastic techniques for wound
closure including muscle flaps.

What interested you in joining Voyage Healthcare?
When I was looking at positions, I knew that I wanted to join a practice that was patient-centered, well-established in the community, and would allow me to use my entire skill set. I’ve found that Voyage
Healthcare has all of those requirements and I am ecstatic to join this awesome multispecialty team!

What do you enjoy doing outside of practicing medicine?
Running, biking, yoga, traveling, country music concerts, spending time with family and friends.
