Voyage Healthcare’s Anticoagulation Clinic offers dedicated monitoring services for patients taking Warfarin (Coumadin), a medication commonly referred to as a “blood thinner.” Our caring team of experienced nurses will assess each patient’s anticoagulation status and associated risk factors to develop a personalized treatment plan. We work closely with the patient to keep our them safe and ensure the medication is working as it should. Anticoagulation clinic services are provided at our Crystal, Maple Grove and Osseo locations.

Routine blood tests are an essential component of warfarin use. These quick tests allow our healthcare team to measure the blood’s clotting ability by monitoring the INR level (International Normalized Ratio) on a regular basis. Patients should expect to be seen in our anticoagulation clinic at least once a month. More frequent visits may be necessary depending on changes to the patients’ health status, medications, or lifestyle.
