Dr. Frederick Hass and Dr. John Giebenhain graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1944 and started separate practices. They covered one another’s practice during World War II while each served their country overseas. After completing their military duties, they began their partnership in 1953 in a small office located at Lowry and Queen Avenues.
Dr. Marvin Muske joined the practice in 1955 and two years later, bought another medical practice in Robbinsdale. North Clinic adopted the motto “Where Caring is a Tradition” and maintained a philosophy of providing concerned, quality health care to its patients at an affordable cost.
As the Twin Cities area continued to grow, North Clinic employed twelve physicians and was considered a multi-specialty practice. We began expansion to the communities of Maple Grove, Osseo and eventually Plymouth.
In 2019, we rebranded to Voyage Healthcare, with the motto of “Health Begins Here” as well as opened our newest clinic in Crystal. Our new name reflects our longstanding organizational philosophy that healthcare should be a well-coordinated, holistic, lifetime journey.
As we celebrate our 70th anniversary, we’re proud to reflect on our past and how we’ve evolved and grown significantly. We are honored to remain independent and prides ourselves in our dedication to providing compassionate healthcare to our patients. Now, we look to a future of continued growth, innovation, and quality of care – for our patient’s lifelong health journey.
